Technical Reports
Below is a sample of the writing and illustration involved in an archaeological final report regarding several sites and their historical importance.
Please see my writing credits for a full list of the technical reports on which I've had authorship, illustration, and/or editorial duties.
In addition to these types of full-blown final/technical reports, I've also done hundreds of archaeological site report forms, maps, and other illustrations as well -- whatever it takes to make a project complete.

Table of Contents - There's little point in trying to post an entire report on the internet, although, with only six sites, this final report is quite a bit smaller than others on which I've worked. This link shows you the extent of what was covered. The formatting has been sacrificed for presentation on the web. |
 |
Writing Sample - I've tried to provide a sample of a more interesting area of the report -- the conclusions. The bulk of the report is taken up with the descriptions of the excavations and artifacts, the methodology, and the prehistoric and historic background for the area. Again, double column, double-justified formatting has been sacrificed -- what a pity. |
 |
Illustration Samples - Illustrations of some type are part of every report, of any type. I can provide the total document solution from first draft to PDF, with virtually any illustration in between: charts, original graphics, maps, clip art, something in Photoshop or Illustrator -- you name it. I taught illustration (please see my chapter on how to illustrate lithics, step by step.) and, once upon a time, I was a graphic designer (please see my resumé). |
